Works great for rain, but not so good for snow
This is one of the better solutions I've found to keep my boat cover supported to water doesn't pool. With the rain it works perfectly. 100% of the rain just runs off the boat. But if you get a little snow, you need to remove it. If you don't, at best it will stretch your cover, but worst case is it could cause it to tear if it is more than a year old. Once the snow is removed it drains and drys nicely. The other issue with the snow is the plastic element at the top of the pole that the straps run through. Snow adds stress to the plastic element. It bends, but being cold and if bent too much I'm pretty sure it will just break. Overall I love the system, but I'll be honest. It is a bit of a pain to instal by yourself. You can do it by yourself, but if you can get a second person to help it goes super fast and easy. Overall work the money and I love they have lots of other accessories that can be used on the pole.

Not good
Doesn't work well. Won't hold up to the weather!

Good cover support for my boat, plus it's a hook.
This was pretty easy to install. It has one strap for the boat and is somewhat easy to adjust tension. It holds the cover up well so rain rolls off and won't fill up your boat.

It really works!
If you're reading this, you know how much of a pain it is to cover the boat after the end of a long day on the lake! This product doesn't make that part of it better because it adds more steps to the covering process. But for the purpose in which it's made, it's worth the extra time to cover the boat! It's adjustable enough for you to move the straps or the stand to the low spots in your cover. I was able to get mine right and no more pooling of water! It's not difficult to set up by any means, it just takes more time...but it saves you more time in the end because you don't have to deal with the pools of water! I give it four stars because the straps are a pretty standard quality. Mine are still new and are holding up, but I can see them becoming brittle or ripping as time goes on. But guess what? This is Amazon! When they do fail, I'll just purchase a higher quality strap and buckle and give it more life! This is worth the price. I was worried at first, but it does what it advertises. I'm very happy with it.

Great Product, BUT!
This is a great product idea and it works well, a simple yet effective design. I only gave it 4* for overall and 3* for ease of installation because of the adjusting buckles. It is EXtremely hard to adjust the tension on the straps because of the style of buckles supplied. They need to be rethunk! ????????

Water still pools
Water still pools on my 19 ft run about. You cannot possibly get the cover tight enough with the way this is made to stop water from pooling

in 1 and a half months the top support plate broke in half
This product worked great until it didn't.. It was relatively easy to install and supported the boat cover well. This week I went to the boat storage to pick up the boat. The top plate where the straps come together had broken in half down the middle front to back. Because of this, the boat cover filled with rainwater, and was torn on a seat bracket. Now we have to by ANOTHER boat cover, and find a cover support that won't break and allow the cover to be trashed. Thanks CAMCO for such a FINE product that cost me even more money than the support. BTW, it was installed per the instructions.

Perfect, easy!
This thing is the jam! My boat has a snap on cover as well, but wont fit over my bini top so we got this; instead of removing it every time. Now ill never use the expensive custom snap cover ever again, regadless. setting this up and whipping the boat cover on takes no time, now even my 10 year old can help! The first time you set it up takes about 10 mins to get the tension right, then its really easy. Rain runs off no pooling, and even made it thru the winter with snow. 10/10.

Good design, poor quality material
Overall product design is a good concept. It's too plate is a bit cheap and flimsy. The straps that cover the bow to offer the cover support up front do not work, in any placement.

Does the job as intended
It just worked. I didn't have to mess around much with it. It did the job. Not super high quality, not low quality really, its helpful.

Works great
This worked great to keep the boat cover from getting those dips where they hold water. Needed 2 people for initial setup but then was good for 1 person to set it up after.

Amazing add on to covers with no supports
I got one of those boat covers for a local store just to cover the boat from rain and leaves, the support was a great add-on because now i dont have to worry water pooling in the cover. I never have to adjust it once the ropes are all hooked in and attached to the support base. I would recommend it to anyone that has a cheap boat cover and needs a support to hold out the elements beats building your own and the price is fair
